Bolivia Santa Cruz Attractions And Things To Do

Bolivia Santa Cruz Attractions: Things To Do Santa CruzSanta Cruz is one of the most tropical cities I have never visit. First founded in 1561. Is Bolivia’s largest city with 1.5 million people and the best city to visit during your holidays to Bolivia. Santa Cruz is also known as Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The city originally served as a supplier of rice, cotton and fruits for the rest Spain's South American colony. Santa Cruz originally lay 220 km east of its current location, on the shores of the Piraí river. But, by the end of the 16th century, the city was moved to its present position, 50 km east of the Cordillera Oriental foothills. Unlike La Paz, Santa Cruz doesn't have so much history or a charming historic area. Santa Cruz is also looks more like a Meditaranian place lost in the tropical jangle and certainly is not where you’ll find the Bolivia you see in pictures.

But you will find many interesting places attractions and things to do in Santa Cruz. It’s worth spending a few days here, wandering the city’s streets and eating at the many international restaurants.
