Cairo Egyptian Museum: Tutankhamun Exhibition
If you plan to visit Egypt then visiting the Cairo Egyptian Museum is a must. More than 100.000 antiques from almost every period of the ancient Egyptian history are housed in the Egyptian museum. It is a place of true discovery and, even after many visits, I continue to make new and delightful discoveries every time I venture into its many galleries. The Egyptian Museum was first built in Boulak. In 1891, it was moved to Giza Palace of "Ismail Pasha" which housed the antiquities that were later moved to the present building. The Museum also comprises a photography section and a large library. It is unique in its presentation of the whole history of Egyptian civilization, especially of antiquities of the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods.

Tutankhamun Exhibition: One major highlight is the famous Pharaoh Tutankhamun tomb collection on the museum's upper floor. Tutankhamun born around 1347 BC. He was the 12 ruler of the 18 dynasty. He spent his early years in Amarna, His mother seems to have died giving birth to him and his father die when Tutankhamen was just 10 years old. The legend says that anyone who dares to open his tomb will suffer the curse of the mummy. Tutankhamun die 18 years old. A small sliver of bone within the appear cranial cavity of his mummy that shows that the young pharaoh might have been killed by a blow to the head this discovered from X-rays analysis.
