Hanoi
In
General
Vietnam is one of the
most beautiful countries in South East Asia, borders
with China in the north, and Laos and Cambodia in the
West. The 1,000-year-old
capital Hanoi, is extend at length of river
Song Hong, that means the red river.
Hanoi was founded in 1010,
and became the centre of government for the Indochina
Union under French rule in 1888. There is still a
strong French influence in
Hanoi, In 1954 it
became the official capital of independent
Vietnam. In
all of Vietnam from Hanoi an till Ho chi
minh is many war museums that many tourist and
local people there are visit them every day. Before a few years the city of Hanoi
was not accessible for the travelers but today is one
of the most friendly cities in south-east Asia. The
life here is moving in constants rhythms and
that's why the people are so polite. I was like to
know more about the culture and lifestyle here in
Vietnam, that's why I found it a good idea to ask some
of the local people.
Halong Bay
The next day I decide to make a
break and to see with my own eyes the wonderful islands of Halong
Bay. The beautiful Halong bay that is
separate in 3000 islands and that is located in the
gulf of Tonking is one of the nature miracles
here in Vietnam. Halong is means there
that the Dragons go down to the sea this is a
Vietnamese legend and is created for a Dragon that live
in this mountains and his home was the caves of the
islands, the legend says that he fly to the coast and
with his calamitous tail he separate the islands,
1000es of tourist there are visit every day the
legendaries islands and the houses of the Dragon is
a splendid spectacular of
stalagmites that was create there from the centuries.
When we still exploring the islands, everybody was
relax from the peace that was around. So much that the
legend with the Dragon, it seams to create for another
place so far from here. In all my trips I was been
follow from oppositions, that's why from the peaceful
Halong bay, I am going back to the noisy
Hanoi for I continue my discovery. More...

Traditional Vietnamese
music
As the capital of
Vietnam for almost a thousand years,
Hanoi is considered to be the cultural centre of
Vietnam. Traditional
Vietnamese music is highly diverse and combining
native and foreign influences. Through the
country's history the largest foreign influence on
traditional music was from China, but later on there was a
lot of influence from the music of
Champa. I was walk in the town looking all of the
small streets that believe me they have always a surprise for me. after a
long time walking I found one shop that sell music
instruments but it was not
only a shop it was also one of the best traditional
music factories of Hanoi. Hand make
instruments that they create from local people with
really good taste. The owner from the factory is one of
the best musicians of Hanoi
