Getting Double Entry Thai Visa From Laos Vientiane:

Here I'm again in Vientiane Lao, but only for one day this time, I'm now writing this post under the Pratuxai monument try spend some time before I go to the bars. My trip this time was starts from my second home Pattaya. My friend rend a car for visit his girlfriend in Udon Thani. We start from Pattaya about 6:30 afternoon and we arrive in Udon about 2:30 A.m. Actually is about the same time if you take mini-bus from Pattaya, but we stop a lot on the way. For people that don't want to rend a car is about 600 baht to go by bus to Udon, or 8500 baht to go with travel agency and is including hotel and the double entry Thai visa to Vientiane and back.

If you go by your self with bus after Udon Thani you must take the bus that take you to the borders, near Nong Khai city. You will need a valid passport with not so many stumps from before. At list 3 empty pages inside your passport. 3 visa photos: 1 photo for Laos visa if you are from a country that need visa to visit Laos and 2 for your Thai visa. You will need also 36 dollar for your Lao visa. A copy of your front-page passport, and a copy of your Lao visa stump. After you pass the border you will take a bus that cost 20 baht to take you in the other side. When you finally on the Lao-side you will see a lot of taxis and Touk Touk. Don't give more then 100 baht to the taxi driver for take you to the Thai Embassy. Thai embassy is open around 8:30 in the morning. You will pay 2000 baht for your Thai visa and you have to waiting an till next day like me now. I hope this info helps, good luck...
