Santa Cruz Guide
Santa Cruz Bolivia
Travel In
General
Santa
Cruz is one of the most tropical
cities I have never visit.
First
founded in 1561.
Is
Bolivia’s largest city
with 1.5 million people
and the best city to
visit during your holidays to Bolivia.
Santa Cruz is also known as Santa
Cruz de la Sierra. Unlike La Paz, Santa
Cruz doesn't have so
much history or a charming historic area. Santa Cruz is
also looks more like a Meditaranian place lost in
the tropical jangle and certainly is
not where you’ll find the Bolivia you see in pictures.
The city originally served as a supplier of rice, cotton and fruits
for the rest Spain's South American colony.

One
of the best way to explore
Bolivia's
culture is the
Mercado Lo Posso.
