kek lok si
Temple
Guide -
Is
one of my favorite temples in south east Asia
and one of the finest Buddhist temples
I have never see. Stands proud on a
hill in Air Itam.
is the largest Buddhist temple
in Malaysia.
The Monks there
they was really happy to make a movie about them
and we make a lot of fun when we eat. One
vegetarian meal
is
free
for everyone. They also tell me
that it has taken more than 20 years to build
kek lok si.
The
style of the temple is a mix
of Mahayana Buddhism with Taoist beliefs and
other Chinese rituals.
