Sacre-Coeur
Basilica
Montmartre
rises
on a hill 130 meters high.
There are 2
highest points in the city where you can see whole city central part.
The first is Tour Eiffel, and the second
is Sacre Coeur Basilica. Sacre Coeur
is mean Sacred Heart.
The church is resplendent in bright
white, and stands out as one of the most beloved landmarks in all of
Paris. Constructed late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In the interior of the temple the Saboyarde stands out, one of the
worldwide biggest bells weighing 18 tons.
Sacre Coeur Basilica
for me is the most beautiful church in Paris.
The exterior of the basilica is built in the Roman Byzantine
style from Travertine stone and one of the very first things that
you will notice are the bronze statues of Joan of Arc and King Saint
Louis IX.
