What The New Age Traveler Says...?

The New Age TravelerSwayambunath Stupa Guide. Is one of the most ancient Buddhists stupas in Kathmandu. and one of the most popular, holy and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. I still remember the steep stone staircase of more than 300 steps for going up on this temple. There is an excellent view of the Kathmandu valley and the surrounding mountains from there. Because  there are many wild monkeys in the area, it is also very well known as Monkey temple.
