Pashupatinath Temple
Pashupatinath Temple
Kathmandu
Pashupatinath temple is
one of the most largest Hindu temple
and many people said that is the most sacred Hindu temple of the world.
It is located on
the holy river Bagmati, 6 km east of
Kathmandu. The temple was built long before the Christian
religion begin. Thousands of Hindus come each
year from South Asia
and it is the Hindu's
center where many festivals take place. The Lord Shiva's golden
temple
has build with four silver doorways. A lot of fakirs and yogi there are
everywhere in the temple and show to the tourist how to meditate.

What The New Age Traveler Says...?
Pashupatinath temple
Guide - Is the
holiest Hindu Pilgrimage site Like Varanasi in India.
The
magnificent temple of Lord Pashupatinath is about 5 kms
north-east of Kathmandu.
Is
one of my favorite places in
Kathmandu,
The main reason that I was so fascinated about this temple is the
fakirs and yogi that are living there and
make so many tricks with meditation.
Inside the temples there are
also a lot of monkeys. Pashupati is another name for Shiva
and means 'Lord of the Animals'.
