Penang
Pulau Penang, it is a large island
which is connected to the mainland by a bridge.
Is located on the north-west coast of Malaysia Peninsula, they also
call it the Pearl of the Orient. North East of the island is the George town
in this city you can find Chinese food more than Singapore or Hong
Kong. Is so many old neighborhoods that is remain you a town that
the clock stop 50 years ago. Georgetown,
named after King George III of England. The city, has arguably the most elegant British colonial
buildings in the country.

History
When you are in Penang you have the feeling that you
step in the island with a lost treasures from pirates that the was
looking islands with exotic beaches to cover them gold. The history
of modern Penang can be traced back to 1786. Before 1786
Penang was nothing more than dense juggle with Malaria, so much that
nobody want to live there. An till that the English captain Francis
Light from the company East India he choose Penang to be a
shelter from them ships through the sea way to China. They bring
with them tea and opium and in the long way to China they stop for
clear water and food. Through the decades, Penang flourished
as a centre for trade of tea, spices, and so on. It remained under
British rule until it became part of Malaysia in 1957 during
Independence Day

Kek Lok Si Temple
The famous temple kek lok si, that is
build in the end of a hill, near the village Ayer Hitam. Is one of the most great Sights to see on
Penang and is one of the finest
Buddhist temples in South-east Asia.
The temple was begun in 1890 and from all
appearances, construction really hasn't ever stopped.
Is include a lot of pagodas and a small temples, is a mix style of
creation of Burmese, Chinese and Thai people. The statue is Kouan
Jin the Got of mercy. Pam pom thang is one of the greatest
Pagodas here, inside the temple you can also eat for free a
vegetarian meal.
Kek lok si is also called the temple with the 1000s Buddha's
or the paradise temple, is also a wall the wall of destiny and the
monk is stick to the wall the wishes from the faithful people. Near
