What The New Age Traveler Says...?
Wat xieng khouang
or
Buddha Park.
When I visit for a first time
Buddha Park
I was really fascinated
for its huge structures that combine
Buddhism and Hindu Philosophies,
is one of the most strange temples I have never see.
Although not an old temple
but the atmosphere is really for meditation.
Inside
Buddha Park
there are
numerous sculptures of Buddha and characters of Hindu lore
as well as many mythical
creatures. For
me Wat xieng khouang
not only worth a visit but your journey to Laos will be
incomplete with out it.
