- Vang Vieng
Vang Vieng In General
Is a one small village in the middle of rivers
and mountains is a truly a backpackers city and is a heaven on earth for Hippies
and adrenaline hunters, but Vang Vieng is also famous for the
opium, here I meet the most strange and mysterious travelers in
south east Asia. Vang Vieng
is set along the banks of the Nam
Song River. For action and adventure,
there are caves to explore, trekking, kayaking and rafting trips and
for the ultra-adventurous, there's rock climbing.
When I relax from the 6 hours trip it
was the time for some action, that's why I went to the wild side one
of the many offices for rafting. After the experience of been in a touk touk with 10 persons we be on the right place for the
preparation that is really important in a sport like this,
some of the guys of the group they said that they have the
experience of how to handle the kayak bat the most of theme they
fall in to the river. The bridge is link the 2 parts of the land
above of the
Nam Song river. The nature in Vang Vieng is imposing and is
need the respect of the humans that they have forget that they are
part of her.

Tham Chang
2 klm away from the village of
Vang Vieng is the Tham
Chang, one group of caves with the great
Tham Siem that means cave of the tiger and is the largest
here. The caves have stone Buddha's from the 11th
century. , close to this caves I meet Po that
normally he comes here and he teach the basic theory of the Buddhism
right here on this lake.
