Wong Tai Sin Temple
is also called Sik Sik Yuen.
Is one of the most famous
temples in Hong Kong.
The Taoist temple established in 1921 and is dedicated to the Great
immortal Wong. When Wong Chuping was 15, he
began to follow Taoism. Forty years
later, he achieved enlightenment and became immortal. People called
him Sik Sik
Yuen from then on. The architecture of
Sik Sik Yuen is in the traditional Chinese temple style. The temple is located
on the southern side of Lion Rock in the north of kowloon.
Inside the temple there also many
psychics that they tell in you your future. Annually, from January 1 to
15, the temple receives numerous visitors, such as those whose
prayers were answered returning to thank the immortal.
