What The New Age Traveler Says...?
Temple of Heaven
Is one of the best temples I never see on China,
many
people say that is the first of the five sacrificial
temples in Beijing.
for me is a
worthwhile visiting place in Beijing. You can
find it easier
from
the (Tiantan Park).
Tiantan Park is one of the biggest
parks in Beijing. In side the temple I meet
a Chinese girl called Leen that she was also holidays in
Beijing and she was happy to show me around. She tell me
that the Construction of the
Temple of Heaven was begin in the year 1406 during the reign of the
Ming Emperor Yongle.
The northern part within the wall is
semicircular symbolizing the heavens and the southern part is square
symbolizing the earth.
