Asian Temples In General

First of all I have to say that I love Asian temples,
Meditation, Concentration and not
only because is a place that You Find the God < That Is inside You >
but Also Because Religion Is represents every culture in
every country. If you are in a temple and you look around
then you can see and
feel all the hopes, taboos, thinking and a lot more of a Nation. As
I have The New Age Travel Site, temples play an important
role for our movies, and because of this we hade the opportunity to
see many of them in all Asia, so this is the reason that I
take the decision of make this page, and for my opinion is better to
start with the biggest temples complex.

place for visitors and you arrange your

It was the focus of a network of high roads by means of which its
rulers could command a large region of fertile plains and could
dominate other major Myanmar dynastic cities.
Bagan was founded in 849 A.D. by King
Pyinbya, on the banks of the vast
Ayeyarwady river. King Anawrahta accomplished another noble
deed for the country: he introduced
Tharavada Buddhism into Myanmar with the help of Shin Arahan
a missionary monk from Thaton. It was Buddhism that influenced the
rulers of Bagan
Dynasty to build innumerable pagodas and temples in and around the
city. The city became one of the most important centres of Buddhist
learning.
Comparisons to
Angkor Wat are probably inevitable,
but Bagan is a very different place. In Angkor there are less
than 50 monuments, at Bagan are more than 2,000 temples still
standing.
